The Grouchies
I am the oldest of nine -- 7 brothers and 1 sister.
In this picture, the girls outnumber the boys
.
H-m-m-m ... I think I'll be an
artist when I grow up
.
The girls were still outnumbering the boys,
but not for long.  I loved my Tammy doll
.
My "brov" and I playing with our kitties.  Cute scarves.
A classic 60's picture of a
two-year-old.  Oops, I'm
telling my age
.
A very nervous flower girl chewed
the handle of her basket in two.
An experienced flower girl coaches
her siblings.  If I click my heels
together, will I end up in Kansas?
From a "bossy" Kindergartener to a High School Graduate
I played the Baritone horn.  Check out that
wool band uniform.  Was it hot?  Yes, it was
.
Clowning around
The narrator
My best buds, Dale & Lisa
The "chief" chick of the Henhouse Five.  Yep, that's me in all the colorful
crepe paper feathers
.  I was destined to be a storyteller.
I wrote, illustrated, and published my first children's
picture book in 10th grade.  Mrs. Lerud was a great
teacher (even if she only gave me a B+ on my book).  As
you can see from the tiny sketch, I was not destined to
be an illustrator; however, I love to write for children
.
There's nothing more
special than a sister
...
Unless, it's a baby brother who is fifteen
years your junior and loved like he was
your own child.  I love you, Jamie!  Now, if
I could only have a nickel a piece for all
those baseball cards I bought you!
This is my family in 2005.  If you think this looks like a big group,
you should see us now.  The babies and blessings keep on coming
.

Does this dress look familiar?

It's called hand-me-downs
.
Snow White?
No, just my sis on her birthday
